Application : It is widely used as a thermal spraying material for metal surface protection, and is also commonly used as a grain refiner of cemented carbide and other wear resistance and corrosion resistance elements.
Characteristic: Cr3C2=180.02, grey powder, rhombic structure, insoluble in water, acid and alkali resistant, density: 6.65-6.68 g/cm3, melting point is 1890 °C, boiling point is 3800 °C. It is an inorganic material with good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance with high melting point in high temperature environment (1000-1100 degrees). Cr3C2 based cermet has excellent antioxidant properties at high temperature, and only slightly darkens after 5 hours of thermal exposure at 982℃.
