Characteristic: TiC=59.91, is grey powder with a density of 4.93 g/cm3, melting point is 3160°C, boiling point is 4300°C.By adding 6%-30% titanium carbide to wc-co cemented carbide to form tic-wc solid solution with WC, the red-heat, wear resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties of the alloy can be significantly improved, which is more suitable for the processing of steel than wc-co cemented carbide. It is also be used in Ni-Mo and other alloys as binder to make non tungsten cemented carbide, which can improve the turning speed, the precision and the finish of the workpiece.
